Buckets of Insight: Annelisa is 10 Months!

I'm learning, learning contentment, curiosity, and observation from my ten month old! I wouldn't have thought that she would be teaching me more than I am possibly teaching her about life! My precious Annelisa Grace is growing fast and if it's possible she is getting sweeter and funnier by the day! She has a zest for life and figuring out how things work, she does things in her own sweet timing, and it's so much fun to celebrate with her when she figures something out!

At ten months old, Annelisa:

is nursing four times a day.
is eating solid meals two times a day.
loves the following foods:

mangoes and bananas
banana and plums
mangoes, pears, and spinach
pear, peas, and broccoli
apples and sweet potatoes
apples and carrots
pear and butternut squash
pears and peas
all the varieties of puffs
Cheerios
whole milk plain yogurt mixed with a fruit puree
cheddar cheese

started liquid vitamins after her 9 month well baby check.
started drinking water out of a sippy cup.
conquered a nasty diaper rash!
is wearing size three diapers (Pampers Baby Dry and Pampers Nighttime).
is wearing a mix of large nine month size clothing and 12 month size items.
is wearing a mix of big 9 month and 12 month size pajamas.
is sleeping 11-13 hours a night.
is napping twice a day. Typically, around 9:30 and 2:00 for an hour and fifteen minutes to two hours each.
LOVES her bath! Especially with all her new bath toys!
has started to show some separation anxiety, especially when tired and in totally new situations!
has continued rocking on her knees.
has started to scoot on her bottom and reach then pull towards a toy...not traditional crawling, but its mobility!
is occasionally rolling from tummy to back. She consistently rolls from back to tummy.
loves to bounce and stand up with assistance from mom or dad.
has the desire to pull up on furniture, but can't do it alone yet.
is raising her arms to prepare to be picked up.
waves to say "hello"! She loves to practice with Farley!
shows lots of excitement!
loves to play with you!
is curious about how toys work and she will investigate them thoroughly.
is babbling, singing, and having conversations ALL the time!
is tremendously happy! Smiles at everyone!
is grabbing and reaching for everything.
loves to rotate through her toys while playing independently.
loves seeing herself in a mirror!
smiles brighter and loves to watch us!
"poses" for pictures with mom's new camera or with mom's phone
smiles every time she sees mom talking on the phone.
has both center bottom teeth...for now!
still sucks her thumb for comfort and her left one is her favorite.
