The Big Day
The food was prepped and set with lots of help from Annelisa's Grammy, Auntie Erin, and Auntie Lauren. Our menu stayed true to the story!

I think everyone was able to get their fill from this spread! Next, while we waited for our lunch to settle before diving head first into sugarville, we had play time!

Then it was time for some cake!
At this point, we took Annelisa upstairs to clean her up and realized that she was having an allergic reaction to something in the cake or icing. We believe it to be an egg allergy as the icing had meringue powder in it. If you'd like to learn more of what we are doing for her in light of this, please read this post,

After Annelisa's allergic reaction was under control and she was feeling better, we rejoined the party to open her gifts!

All in all, Annelisa's celebration was a success! We are so fortunate to have family and friends who care so much about us and our little lady! I wanted to thank, our friend, Aly Pray for taking all of the pictures during her celebration allowing me to focus my attentions on Annelisa and our guests!
Happy 1st Birthday, Annelisa! Mommy and Daddy can't wait to see how you grow and develop into the lady God has designed you to be!
