Annelisa is 12 Months!

I couldn't pick just one! Both show so much of this little lady's personality and believe me we tried to capture one of her sweet smiles...but no such luck this time around! She can be so serious sometimes! 

At 12 months my dear, sweet Annelisa Grace:

• is nursing twice a day, morning and bedtime.
• is drinking 8 ounces of whole milk from a sippy cup after her afternoon nap. 
• is eating solids at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 
• is drinking water from a sippy cup at all solid meals. 
• enjoys dropping her sippy cup dramatically from her high chair when given the opportunity!
• enjoys playing with her spoon after mom is finished feeding her. I haven't allowed her to play with it before she's been fed! 
• is eating all previous foods plus lots of things from our "plate."
• is allergic to concentrated egg. (More on that here.)
• has almost four teeth! Two on top (still coming in) and two on bottom. 
• is wearing size 3 Huggies Snug and Dry Diapers. I made the switch from Pampers Baby Dry to Huggies Snug and Dry for her skin. She has very sensitive skin and this has helped a lot of her rash and eczema go away.
• is wearing size 3 night time diapers.
• is wearing mostly 12 month size clothes, there are some 9 month size onesies still in the mix. It's funny how most of her 12 month size pants are too short, but the onesies are too big! She is long and lean! 
• is wearing 12 month size pj's.
• is wearing size 2 shoes (3-6 month size!).
• is taking two naps a day, between 9:30 and 10 and between 2:30 and 3:00 for an hour and a half to two hours each.
• is sleeping 12 to 13 hours a night. 
• still sucks her thumb for comfort, especially when sleepy. 
• has acquired an army of (stuffed) sheep that go to bed with her! There are three in her crib that she loves to snuggle! All of them are from her Grammy and GP, making our little AG, our little lamb! 
• is a fast mover! She has mastered her crawl and gets around quickly!
• is tugging on Mama's pants when she wants to be picked up.
• is pulling up! 
• loves to stand, when she gets to that position! 
• is mastering the "sit down" from standing! 
• is sooo curious! She loves to open and close cabinets, doors, and drawers! 
• is saying:
• Dada (at Dada and in general!)
• "all done"
• Mama (but not necessarily consistently at me...so it doesn't really count yet!) :) 
• lots of gibberish!
• is signing:
• milk
• more (clapping hands)
• waving (hello and goodbye)
• is showing excitement and getting attention with loud waving and squeals of delight. 
• loves music! She claps, dances, and her face lights up! 
• loves the following songs:
• "The Wheels on the Bus"
• "Jesus Loves Me"
• "The Aggie War Hymn" --Hullabaloo Canek, Canek!
• "Patty Cake" 
• is recognizing friends and family (from pictures!). 
• has the following favorite toys:

• Shape sorter elephant box

• lamb friends (she has five!) 
• various books! 
• loves the bath! Especially with her snail stacker toy, her crab, and her penguin! 
• is going to have my curly hair! She has ringlets after her bath! :) 
• is a happy, sweet, observant, serious, curious, little lady!
