Parent Commissioning

Today, we participated in Parent Commissioning at our church. We are so thankful for the church body and community of believers that God has brought us to at Allen Bible. Our families were there to support us as we declare to all that we have and are accepting our responsibilities as the parents of Annelisa Grace, to raise her up in the ways of the Lord.

We selected Ephesians 2:8-10 (ESV) for Annelisa Grace. It is our prayer for her that she will come to know Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age as her Savior and Redeemer! 

8For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

After the service, we returned to our home with our families to celebrate all that God has done and will continue to do in our lives with Annelisa Grace. Annelisa was a tired little lady and promptly went down for a nap...she is always tired after a morning spent in the nursery watching all the other babies. 

We are so thankful to all of our family members who came to church with us and celebrated God's blessing with us whether in person or from a far! We love you all!
